  1. How much Wedding Toss do I need to order?  

     If you are serving from containers such as baskets or 
     silver bowls or cones allow 

     about 1/3 to 1/2 cup  toss  per guest.

            Bulk Bags are the most economical way to order.
            50 cups will yield about 100 loose servings.

         If filling favors, allow one tablespoon
         per small envelope .

         Allow 2 tablespoons per tulle bag.

         Allow 1/3 to 1/2 cup per cone.

Our 12-cup box will fill about 100 envelope favors or
satin roses or 50 tulle bags or 25 cones

2. How far in advance should I order the rose petals or toss?

    Allow at least two weeks for shipping if possible.

      Ideally, order 4 weeks before shipment.

      We also accept orders up to 12 months in advance and
      then ship the month requested.

        Rush orders are welcome, too!    We know how
        last minute details can be and are happy to help!
        We have even shipped orders the day before the wedding!

Filled favors require at least 1 week before shipment

              about storage:
             Freeze-Dried Rose Petals & Wedding Herbs
             should keep well for about 4 weeks or more .
             Store at room temperature; protect from moisture &
             direct sunlight.

3. Why do church & reception sites ban rice & birdseed?

    Rice can be slippery.  It has not been proven that rice
    is harmful to birds, but there is still concern.

    Birdseed can cause weeds to grow; it is also dusty, 
    making it unpleasant to use. 
    Both seed and rice are unattractive after being tossed.

    Different from potpourri & bubbles, which may stain fabric, 
      Petals & Herbs are fabric-safe and ecology-wise.
  
      Leaving behind a flower-strewn path, toss will simply 
      return to nature after use.

      Another recent trend has been butterfly releases.
           However, this practice is not endorsed by the national 
           Butterfly Association. Visit their website for information.
